It’s Booked… I Can Hardly Wait!

That’s right people!! …its been a good few months since my last holiday to Egypt so I’ve decided to treat myself to another break away.

Timing isn’t great with the markets picking up just now but life’s for living right? It’s the first time I’ve had this kind of opportunity so I’m going to take it…

This time we’ll be going to one of the nicest destinations I’ve ever seen. I’ve always wanted to go just because of the whole desert island type situation.

The Maldives, Whoop Whoop!!

I’ve just booked 11 days of pure relaxing on the island of Meedhupparu with my better looking half. It’ll be interesting to see if the break has much impact on my trading ability when I’m back!

This is a pretty big milestone for me to be doing this as; a couple of years ago I couldn’t have dreamed of doing something so extravagant off the cuff! I guess this, and when we arrive will is the point at which I know I’ve made quite a bit of progress.

Trading this month…

This months been a pretty big result for me so I’m not too anxious about spending so much on a holiday.

The cost of the holiday isn’t so much of a worry but more the fact I’m going to miss 12 days of the racing at a good point in the year to be trading. Still, I can’t complain when I think to where I’ve come from! With the way my trading’s been going just lately it seems like ill be loosing a small fortune in lost earnings! But as we all know, it’s damaging to look at a missed opportunity as a loss.

I’m keen to do a bit of diving this time as its supposed to be where it’s at for diving too, all in all a bit exciting really. Have you been? If readers have anything they recommend let me know!

The markets have perked up now it would seem and the evening racing has started. I haven’t done a huge amount of it yet as I’ve spent a fair bit of time in the beer garden. Initially they markets feel a bit thin, but im sure that’s pretty normal for the start of any change to the calendar.

Not long now!! The clock seems to have stopped moving….

  1. The markets are thin because the betdaq tide is changing. I thought that was pretty obvious!
If you were a trader who worked for me you wouldn’t be going away at this important time.

  2. Nice one Caan! Have a good time mate a make sure that you take a few snaps of yourself downing various ice cold bevvies in an assortment of exotic locations.

    Dave.

  3. Cheers dave, im sure i can fix that up 🙂

Hey anon, i’ve charged my betdaq account up recently and dabbled over there but don’t seem like anything considerable just yet.
Yeah not the best time to pick a holiday either i agree… fortunately though i wouldnt work for anyone else again 🙂

  4. When you do this for a living there’s never a best time to pick a holiday. Just because night racing’s started doesn’t mean it bumper pay day time, you need to breakaway from the mindset that your year rests on certain weeks here or there.

You seem to be making a decent enough living at the moment, chuck, just enjoy it where you can. It’ll be wall to wall racing right up til October so a week here or there means nothing in the bigger picture. Have fun over there , no point in earning money if you aren’t gonna spend it 🙂

  5. Do not blame you for taking a holiday at all, as a pro trader as well all those hours sat at the computer, reading match data looking at graphs you deserve to spend your earnings and relax recharge and return fresh and ready for new challenges!

  6. We have 4 traders in our team now and none ever said they would never work for anyone again. I think that open-mindedness explains why they all made more than $370,000 net last year. Within 3 years we expect this to be very close to $750,000 per year. But it is hard work. And, they all thought at one time or another that Betfair was the Holy grail.
Two of them reached 60% PC and became seriously disillusioned, the other two were saved after only reaching PC level one. Ie 20%
I recruited all 4 traders by trolling blogs and forums like yours over a 3 year period and it is an on going project. I had thought you had potential to join our team. I am not sure. You would be the youngest and a challenge especially in view of recent comments.
Once you learned what we do, you could trade Betfair pre race markets effortlessly. If you made only £1k per day I would have to question why!
But we don’t trade Betfair markets any more because the future is limited at best and uncertain.
We operate in the financial markets across the globe. The upside is enormous but the downside is the time zones we have to work. We go where the opportunities are.
This is why I need more traders.
We use a technique for reading the markets which has nothing to do with any Technical Analysis rubbish and everything to do with sheer bloody hard work. Order flow analysis. No short cut to learning this I’m afraid.
    Who am I?
    Quinny.
How do you join? I select you. Or not.
I/We teach you as much as we know, absolutely free.
Whats in it for me (Quinny)
You pay me a percentage of your yearly profits after you have made them. You determine the rate. Usually around 8 -12%.
There is no contract you can go it alone at anytime.
I am protected because you won’t know where the opportunities without me. This is my secret but it will make you/me rich.
Of course you don’t need me. If you want to learn about Order Flow by yourself and have 10,000 hours to spare – go right ahead.

    Regards Quinny.

Good Luck with never working for anyone again. I am sorry to have bothered you.

    1. I wouldn’t want to with someone so arrogant myself.. I highly doubt someone who can holiday in the maldives during a percieved “increase in trade” is missing out on any increased quality of his life by not bothering either..

Caan shows what makes him such a legend via handling you so diplomatically.

  8. Hmm interesting comment Quinny, i had no idea it was yourself as Anon.
Haven’t spoken to you personally although am aware what you say is likely to be genuine, Should you change your mind feel free to email me. Im not short on time.

    Regards

    Caan
